Brass door knocker with fish motif

The door knocker is formed as a "J" with a brass finish. Two sculpted fish, each with detailed scales and fins, flank the curve of the "J," facing each other with open mouths. Their eyes appear closed. Each fish grips a curved rod extending from the top of the "J" and terminating in a small sphere beneath the fish. Two spherical protrusions are positioned above the fish, presumably for mounting. The entire piece appears metallic.
